What is Brambyl?
A WordPress plugin that connects to your Google Search Console and runs 30 automated checks for indexing problems — sitemap exclusion headers, broken canonicals, null indexable flags, robots.txt asset blocks, and more. The PRO addon adds repair tools with rollback for every detected issue.
Does it modify my Google Search Console data?
No. The free plugin uses read-only Google Search Console API access. PRO repairs modify your WordPress database (Yoast indexable table, rewrite rules) — never your Google account. Every repair records rollback SQL before executing.
What is the sitemap noindex bug?
Yoast SEO emits an X-Robots-Tag: noindex HTTP header on sitemap XML files. Google interprets this as a signal not to index the sitemap URLs, which can prevent your pages from being discovered. Brambyl detects it; the PRO addon repairs it without editing plugin files, and the repair survives Yoast updates.
Does it work without Yoast?
Yes. Brambyl auto-detects Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO, SEOPress, and The SEO Framework. Sites without an SEO plugin use WordPress core sitemap support. Checks that read SEO plugin tables are skipped when no compatible plugin is active.
Is it safe to repair my database?
Every PRO repair captures the exact rows it will change before executing, stores rollback SQL in the fix history, and shows a confirmation with the affected row count. You can revert any repair from the Fix History page. The plugin also requires a database backup download before your first repair.
What does the free version include?
All 30 diagnostic checks, the health score dashboard, daily monitoring with admin bar indicator, weekly email reports with position trends, and the top queries table. The free plugin is a complete diagnostics product on its own.
